Manila Utah, the county seat of Daggett County, is a town of 300 people just South of the Wyoming Border on the intersection of SR43 and SR44.
The town was named after the Battle of Manila Bay which took place in the same year during the Spanish American War.
The primary industry in the region are recreation both in the Uinta Mountains and Flaming Gorge Reservoir.
